Sorry for not posting!
I cry like a blubbering fool for a day, then I start to look around the house in the morning light the next day and I realize how much cleaning I need to do and how once I clean it, it MAY actually stay like that for a short while! Of course, I'd rather have a messy house with him home than a spotless house with him gone. I have to look on the bright side though.
And it's just so darned quiet. Anyone ever notice how strange it is when you're so used to the noise that comes along with children that when the noise is gone, you miss it?
Don't worry about me. I've got plenty to distract me this summer. Traveling, teaching, book signings, scrapping. I may even allow myself to kick back and relax some. :)

Looks great, Maelynn! I especially love the background and the beautiful pic of you! Can't wait to see the new book. I am lucky to sit across the hall from such a talented, sweet lady.

Sending hugs. I know the feeling. My oldest daughter is with her dad now. Just counting down the days. It was good to see you the other day.
